Wood ArtWork Bowls:
Besides the dedicated care he shows his patients, Dr. Grode spends some of his spare time creating beautiful wood crafted bowls. Utilizing exotic woods from around the world, you can see some of his work on display at Aunt Gertrude's located in downtown historic Guthrie.
Several bowls are for sale and two are being sold through silent auction bids through November 30.
Proceeds from the sale of his stunning work benefit the LMC Foundation.

Room Renovations:
Ten and ½ of the renovated suites at LMC have sponsors. They include: Mr. & Mrs. Tom Williams, Carol Ricks, First Capital Bank, Bancfirst, LMC Auxiliary, LMC medical staff, QHR Management, High Chaparral Development Co., Inc., Farmers & Merchants Bank, Companion Hospice and ½ room sponsor Central Rural Electric Coop Foundation.
Water Garden:
The LMC Foundation provided funds to create a waterfall garden at the front entrance of the hospital This long-lasting garden can be used by patients and guests at LMC.
You can become a permanent part of the LMC Waterfall Garden when you purchase a stepping stone with your inscription to be installed near the waterfall. The stones can be purchased for yourself, a friend, in memory of a loved one, in celebration of anniversaries or birthdays, graduation classes, civic clubs or anything else meaningful to you.
Prices range from $40 to $400.
Golf Tournament:
The 25th annual golf tournament is set for Friday, July 9, 2010 at Coffee Creek Golf Course. For more information or to be a sponsor, contact Pam Daniels, 260-4377. Print and mail in for early registration.
Passport to Paradise
Friends of the Foundation raised $13,300 on the 2010 Cruise. Coming in 2011 - Alaska Bound! Watch for more details as they become available.
What a great way to make a donation to LMC's Foundation. Thanks to Journey House travel agency and Carnival Cruise Lines as they donate a portion of their commission to the Foundation.
