Volunteers
The Auxiliary
The Auxiliary at LMC consists of approximately 40 volunteers who proudly serve your hospital. Not only do they maintain the gift shop and snack bar, they donate hours of service to the patients of the hospital. With smiling faces and kind words, you can always count on the “pink ladies”. Whether it’s to sit with a patient, enhance the hospital grounds, or merely to greet you with a smile, they are willing to volunteer.
Over the past forty years, the volunteer auxiliary of Logan Medical Center’s endeavors have included donations of bedside tables for patient rooms, decorating the family waiting room and donating thousands of hours in service.
The gift shop carries an extensive line of Willow Tree angels, boxes, nativity scenes and ornaments. Take a break from your day to day routine, stop in for some shopping and enjoy lunch at the LMC gift shop/snack bar.
Jr. Volunteer Program
During the summer months of June and July, the Jr. Volunteer program at Logan Medical Center comes alive. This program gives the opportunity to students’ aged 14-17 to volunteer in all different aspects of the hospital. (link to application)

With this donation two pediatric stretchers and two pediatric cribs were purchased. These cribs are used in the emergency room, the operating room and for in-patient pediatric care. The 40-member auxiliary made the donation with funds earned from sales at the gift shop/snack bar and vending machines at the hospital. |
