| Logan Medical Center may financially sponsor community programs that serve a public purpose and support the health and wellness of the community. The hospital donates funds to local charities and events, which promotes an important public purpose by enhancing the reputation of the hospital and marketing its services.
In working to fulfill its mission, LMC makes a sizable contribution to the community through charitable care, outreach programs, community education programs, screenings and other such efforts that provide significant intangible benefits to the community. LMC is not just a not-for-profit healthcare institution, but also has one of the largest pools of employees in the community.
Because LMC takes its responsibility as a corporate citizen seriously, requests for financial assistance are weighted in a careful, compassionate and fiscally responsible manner.
Through its annual budgetary process, LMC will set aside funds generated by operations to support requests from the community. All requests must be received in writing and include the following information:
1) Name and basic information about the group making the request;
2) Contact person’s name and contact information
3) Clear statement of what support is requested, whether it be personnel, supplies, money, space or in-kind donations;
4) Details about the activity or event for which support is requested.
Requests will be considered based on what resources are available at the time of the request, and whether the request meets the hospital’s goal of helping develop the health and wellness, public safety and community relationships.
Print and Complete the application and fax to Cathie Cordis at 282-6790.
Those excluded from consideration are groups with little impact on Logan County; political groups or candidates; religious groups, private entities or special interest groups espousing a religious or other message not in line with Logan Medical Center’s mission.
